St. Julie Billiart, Spiritual Mother of the Sisters of Notre Dame

Celebrated November 9, 2021 – June 22, 2022

Saint Julie Billiart, the Spiritual Mother of the Sisters of Notre Dame, was canonized on June 22, 1969 by Pope Paul VI. She was beatified on May 13, 1906 by Pope Pius X. She was born on July 12, 1751 in Cuvilly, Picardy, France and died on April 8, 1816 at age 64 in Namur, Belgium. Saint Julie is the patron saint against poverty, bodily ills and disease.
